A fish tank with a rectangular base has a volume of 3,360 cubic inches. The length and width of the tank are 14 inches and 12 inches, respectively. Find the height, in inches, of the tank.

The fish tank is a ractangular prism and the volume of a rectangular prism, V = L x W x H

Where L, W and H are the Length, width and height respectively.

Substitute V = 3360, L = 14 and W = 12,

3360 = 14 x 12 x H

3360 = 168H

Divide both sides by 168

H = 3360/168

H = 20 inches
