Ii) from third equation of motion, v^{2} = u^{2} + 2as.

The above equation can be written as:

V^{2} = u^{2} - 2gH [because the ball travels against gravity]

V = 0

0 = 50^{2} - 2(10)H

2500 = 20H

H = 2500/20

H = 125m

Iii) total time spent in air = 2t

t = time to reach maximum height = 5

Total time spent in air = 2(5)

= 10 seconds

IV) from third equation of motion, v^{2} = u^{2} + 2as.

The above equation can be written as:

V^{2} = u^{2} + 2gH [because the ball travels with gravity]

U = 0

V^{2} = 2(10)(125)

V^{2} = 2500

V = 50m/s
