12 August 2020 0 The equation, T = 15n + 12 can be compared to the straight line equation, y = mx + c

where m = slope

and c is the intercept, which is the initial value of y when x = 0

In relation to the initial equation, 15n = mx, (thus, m = 15 and n = x) and c = 12

when n = 0

T = 15(0) + 12

T = 12

That is, Salim will have to pay an initial 12 dollars fee for processing (without yet paying the tickets fee. that is, ticket fee initially is 0) before paying the actual tickets fee, which is represented by the slope, m
