The formula for the interior angles of a regular polygon is given by: I = [(n - 2) x 180] / n

where n is the number of sides, and I is the interior angle

I = 168

Thus,

168 = [(n - 2) x 180] / n

cross multiply

168n = (n - 2)180

Expand the bracket on the right hand side

168n = 180n - 360

collect like term

180n - 168n = 360

12n = 360

divide both sides by 12

n = 360/12

n = 30
